Stainless Steel 347 Welded Pipe is the higher carbon composition of Alloy 347 and has improved high temperature and creep characteristics. This premium AISI 347 quality is always recognized for its many features, including reliable and long-lasting finish, strong construction, non-corrosiveness and ease of installation. The alloy 321H pipes also have good mechanical characteristics and are advantageous for high-temperature service. Type Stainless Steel 347 Cold Drawn Pipes for forging, molding, and other hot works, working temperatures of 2100 to 2250 degrees F (1149 – 1232 degrees C) are recommended. While strong oxidizing environments, the ASTM A312 Stainless Steel TP 347 Pipes are similar to the grade SS 321, with slightly improved corrosion resistance. The Stainless Steel 347 tubes are popularly used for petroleum refineries, aircraft engine parts, electricity generation, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, sold manufacturing and other high-heat applications, usually referred to as the UNS S34700.

    Testing Used By Us :

    To specify the various physical and mechanical properties of the finished product, various tests, both destructive and nondestructive, are performed. Metallurgical, hardness, hardenability, tension, ductility, compression, fatigue, impact, wear, corrosion, creep, machinability, radiography, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, and eddy current are some of the major tests that are performed by quality control personnel. Metallurgical testing is used to determine the quality of steel by analyzing the microstructure of a sample under a microscope. A cross section of a sample is first highly polished and then examined at a magnification from 100-500 diameters. The microstructure of steel consists of grains of different compositions and sizes.
