In different designations, dimensions and specifications, there has been a considerable inventory of 2507 Stainless Steel Pipe. They are also processed in large amounts in order to satisfy customers' urgent demands.

Super Duplex 2507 ERW Pipe with very strong chloride corrosion resistance and very high mechanical strength. Super Duplex 2507 Tube Pitting and cracking corrosion resistance in almost all corrosion media reaches 316L or 317L austenitic stainless steel. Such ASTM A789 Super Duplex S32750 Tube is outstanding in managing extreme corrosive conditions, such as offshore and maritime. Super Duplex 2507 ERW tube is designed for highly demanding applications, including chemistry, petrochemical and seawater, and has a 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel strength and corrosion resistance tube. Molybdenum, chromium and nickel content are included in S32750. Higher molybdenum and chromium composition and minimal addition of nitrogen result in excellent chloride pits resistance and shrinkage. The duplex structure, however, provides good pitting resistance, as well as chloride stress, cracking. Application of pipes and tubes of Super Duplex S32750 ERW Tube up to 316 deg C should be limited. In hydrochloric acid diluted also, Super duplex 2507 tubing can be employed. 2507 super duplex tubing provides excellent inorganic acid resistance, especially in the conditions containing chlorides.

Metallurgical, hardness, hardenability, tension, ductility, compression, fatigue, impact, wear, corrosion, creep, machinability, radiography, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, and eddy current are some of the major tests that are performed by quality control personnel. Metallurgical testing is used to determine the quality of steel by analyzing the microstructure of a sample under a microscope. A cross section of a sample is first highly polished and then examined at a magnification from 100-500 diameters. The microstructure of steel consists of grains of different compositions and sizes.
